Edit Index

It describes the index modification through Gui Operation.

Execte Index > Context Menu > Edit Index to modify the Index object through Gui Operation.

The details can be set in each tab.Common, Option

Edit Index screen

SQL applied to the settings is shown in the bottom SQL area.

Common

Checks the Schema, Name and the type of the index to be modified. Name field only can be modified.

Columns

Checks the existing column information of the index to be modified. Midification is not available.

Option

Checks and modifies the existing option information of the index to be modified.

Refer to the Create Index > Option tab in each field. Option

Note

Fields of Key Compression, PCTFree and Tablespace cannot be modified.

After completing the detailed settings on each tab, click the [Edit button] to modify the Index object with the settings.
