Creating database (Azure)
Creating a new database
Create a database to make it operational in OwlDB. Once the database creation (hereafter referred to as provisioning) is complete, the users can use all the features provided by OwlDB.
The users can check the progress of provisioning by clicking the 🔔 icon in the top right corner of the console. For information about the database engines and instance types supported by OwlDB, see the 'Service Overview' page.
Note
Only one database can be created at the time of initial creation, and duplicates cannot be created. Provisioning takes approximately 15 minutes per node to complete.
Navigate to the OwlDB console > Dashboards menu.
Click the Create button.
Pull down the specs for the database the users want to create, and key in the information.
On the right side of the page, the users can see a summary of the information the users keyed in at each step.
Review the complete creation information in the Verify configuration information step, then click the Create button to begin provisioning.
Creating options
The users can see the estimated amount based on the options the users pulled down when creating the database. This amount is calculated based on the Seoul region, and the actual amount may vary depending on the usersr region, actual usage, etc. and actual usage.
