Subscribe to OwlDB on AWS Marketplace
Go to https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace and search for OwlDB and pull down OwlDB.
Click Continue to Subscribe to sign up for a subscription.
Click Continue to Configuration to begin setting up for OwlDB deployment.
Deploy OwlDB with AWS CloudFormation
1. Configure this software
Pull down the items below, and click Continue to Launch.
Fulfillment option
OwlDB for Tibero7 (Deploy into existing VPC)
OwlDB for Tibero7 (Deploy into new VPC)
Software version
1.1 (Jun 25, 2025)
Region
Check the available region.
2. Launch this software
Check the Configuration details.
In Select Action, pull down Launch CloudFormation, and click Launch.
3. Create CloudFormation Stack
Provide a Stack name
Stack name
A unique identifier for the Stack the users want to deploy.
Cannot be duplicated with a Stack name in use.
Parameter [Fulfillment option : Deploy into new VPC]
OwlDB Infra Setting
Vpc CIDR
The range of IP addresses (CIDR block) for the newly created VPC
Cannot be the same or overlapping with an existing VPC
Availability Zone
Target Availability Zone to deploy infrastructure resources to
Must be an AZ within the Region pulled down
Public Subnet CIDR
Range of CIDRs for the Public Subnet to be used within the specified VPC
Public Subnet : A network that allows external communication through an Internet gateway
Must be a range included in the VPC CIDR
CIDR Range for OwlDB Access
Range of IP addresses (CIDR) to allow inbound access to the OwlDB instance
If not required, 0.0.0.0/0 keyed in
KeyPair Name
Name of the key pair for SSH access to the OwlDB instance
The key must be pre-generated as an AWS EC2 key pair
The PEM file should be kept locally
Image ID
Image ID for OwlDB deployment
Use the default value

Caution
The OwlDB Root User Name is the ID used to log in to OwlDB. It cannot be changed after it is set during the process.

Port number used to communicate with the client interface or front end of OwlDB

OwlDB Infra Setting
VpcId
Select the VPC to deploy OwlDB to pull down.
Select one of the existing VPCs.
Internet Gateway Id
The ID value of the IGW associated with the selected VPC
Availability Zone
The Availability Zone to which infrastructure resources will be deployed.
AZ within the selected Region
Public Subnet CIDR
The CIDR range of the Public Subnet to be used within the specified VPC.
* Public Subnet : A network that allows external communication through an Internet gateway.
Must be a range included in the VPC CIDR.
CIDR Range for OwlDB Access
Range of IP addresses (CIDR) to allow inbound access to the OwlDB instance.
If the access restriction is not required, 0.0.0.0/0 keyed in.

In this step, the users can leave the options pulled down by default.
Tags (Optional)
The users can add tags to configure, identify, and categorize the usersr AWS resources. The users can add up to 50 unique tags to each Stack.
Permissions (Optional)
The users can use IAM to specify roles to use in the usersr Stack.
Stack failure options
Pull down the behavior for provisioning failures and how newly created resources are deleted during rollback.
Additional settings (Optional)
The users can add additional options, such as Stack notification options and policies.

This step verifies and reviews the template and Stack details the users specified.
Click the Submit button to begin provisioning.
OwlDB Access Guide
Initial Access
Once the deployment of OwlDB is complete through the AWS Marketplace, an email containing the OwlDB access URL and account information will be sent to the AWS root account used during deployment. You can access OwlDB using the information in this email. If you do not receive the email, please contact us at [email protected].
URL Access
http://Elastic IP address/OwlDB
The Elastic IP address can be found in the CloudFormation console > Stack > Stack Name > Resources tab.
