# Openning New Connection configuration
User can set database server information and connect to the database through the New Connection Settings window. Access the settings window through the following paths.
1. **Global Navigation Bar (GNB)**
Select **\[File] > \[New Connection]** on top menu.
2. **Shortcut**\
**Use** `Ctrl + N` Key to open the modal directly.
3. **Toolbar connection icon**
Click **\[Connection icon(****)]** on the top toolbar.
4. **Schema Object Tree top Toolbar**
Click **\[Connection icon (****)]** on the top toolbar of Schema Object Tree.
